Blinded By Your Eyes

I walked with you that night, that night
I saw the eyes shine, O' shine
I knew not for how bright , how bright they'd be
Looked in them all high, all high beneath

Blind I am today, for I see no one else, no one else
Its your eyes, your eyes that's all in my head
Your scent doesn't leave, doesn't leave me free
Your presence I can feel every where, every where

I can't tell you to stay with me, stay with me
Hold me tight, don't let it go, let it go
You go, go on, march on, march on
Someday I will see, I will see you again

Someday I'll hold you again, hold you again
Might you not be mine, but mine you are, you are
Fallen I am, Fallen I am, but don't worry
Smile I will for I had you, I had you is all

Don't worry, you march on, march on
Don't look back, in my blinded eyes, my blinded eyes
Don't say, don't mind, I am alright, alright
Go on for I remember you and that night, O' that night
Just as I held, I held onto you so tight,
for I was blinded, blinded by your eyes.

Fight

I stepped off this step, I got in stride for another
Left a world behind, promising to win another
I stepped off this step, I got in stride for another
Barely cooled off from the last battle, jumped head first into another

The sun scared, hid behind them clouds, the winds up in arms
Threw the boy in me down, scraped on that cold floor my pride
Dressed in leather shoes, I fought back with all might
The bruises on me, speak so less, for a friend had I found

So strong was her vibe, and smile, the winds now shudder
We meet each day, and acknowledge the other
It knows now its too weak to take me head on
For she walks by my side, my shield, my sword

Each day is long, as I thaw in this freezing heat
My limbs are stricken with pain and grief
There are worlds that await the return of a lad
But today is my fight, for tomorrow I'll be a man

They say behind my back, for crazy is he
Says he shines in his armour, which is all spotless and clean
Armour so useless for souvenirs they are, he hides
Behind the cover of a selfless heart, pure and serene

Tell him O' coward, come out and fight
The winds are forever but not the smile that fights
Tell him to die for the honour is what he came for
Not be bloating with pride of someone else's fight, Come out, Come out
Be the lad they see, fighting and winning, you know you can be.

You Called Me Here

You said I'll like it here, you said the winds are nice
You said the people all smile, you said the music sounds right
You said that I'd shine up here, then you said you were here
I stood up and came here, coz you said you were here
Now I see you no more, I walked the lanes, I ran the roads
But I don't see you here, I cant find you here
Now, I don't like it up here, the winds, they pinch
The people just stare and an unnerving silence fills the air
Yet I'm gonna hold on, walk and run this alone
Till I find you, till I see you, for you promised I'd like it here.
