Don't Walk Away

The breath was deep, the eyes swollen,
The feet so heavy, and the mouth slightly open,
I knew not why i could walk away that night
I knew not how you could walk away that night
I know not should I have said what I wanted to say
Should I have told you that speech I prepared all day?
I hear this song by a man with a weird tone
You let her go he sings; you let her go he sings
I don’t want to say i did, i don’t want to know i did
I don’t, i don’t want to feel this way
I know you're hurt too, feeling it too
Just don’t cry my love, don’t cry my dove
Stay strong and walk this life's empty lie
You walk, you know the way, only alone it is today
But don’t worry, don’t you worry one minute
Small steps, gentle steps is all it'll take
Take you far away, to the dream land you talk of
You dream of, you think of, you are
These days were a lifetime, i lived them right
Now i just smell of you, my clothes, my home smells of you
But i love that smell, love to sleep in that smell
Like you are right here, so don’t worry, I’m happy
I'm happy and i get up each day, for someday it'll be you again
Someday I’ll see you again, till then i wont bath
I won’t wash my house, my heart, my nights
You walk, walk, don’t look back, I’ll be here my love
Because this world is round and you'll come back
